but not burnt. thank goodness.
This trip to Maldives i really did enjoyed myself.
Waking up 9 in the morning and went to buy a pair of slippers as i'd forgotten to pack in. Luckily it's only US$8...
Then i headed straight to the beach, without having breakfast, with my group of frenz.
The weather was great and the water was so clear. As i was feeding the fishes, i kena bitten by one.. though it's not a big fish but it hurts! Bruised for a day.
And first time in my life, I saw what the "drop point" is all about. It's SCARY as the sea seemed "bottomless" and i swam there with my goggles only. Daring huh?
Till 6pm,I went for Night Fishing. Everyone, on the average, caught about 3 fishes. But i only caught 1 baby snapper, somemore with the help of the "Captain of the boat". No fishy luck for me that night. A total of about 25 fishes(15 big ones + remainder are snappers) were caught and we had them for our BBQ dinner on another island.
On the next morning we went to rent snorkeling gears and went to the beach without breakfast again. It's my first time trying out snorkeling and the whole time i was trying to tighten the mask and blowing water out of the snorkel. this time the sea was rougher and we had a hard time keeping our balance while standing. I went to see the "drop point" for a 2nd time and i actually swam out a little, but a big wave came by and went into my snorkel. I swallowed a mouthful of seawater and tried to catch some air, but another big wave came gushing and water went into my mask.
This time I panicked and struggled.
For a second i thought i'm gonna drown. haha!
Then i managed to swim back a little and stood on the corals. Thank God i'm still alive.
at the end of the day, i suffered a deep cut on my left palm (and it hurts badly) and many other scratches and cuts on my arms and legs. but still it's all worth it.
We round up the whole Sun-Sand-Sea fun by posing at the beach, trying to be like models of Sports Illustrated *Puke*
More Pics to come. Waiting for my girlfrenz to email to me
Though i hate to be tanned, but for such a beautiful palce with great frenz, it's really hard to resist.
Now i'm back in SG, and i so missed my Furby.
Still having skin problem, but much better now. Guessed the medicated bath helps.
Here's Furby again... I'm so proud of my boy...
